New sports facility to be named the Irving Oil Field House
Saint John, NB – Today, Irving Oil and the Greater Saint John Field House announced a partnership which will see the new facility officially named the Irving Oil Field House.
The 127,000-square-foot facility, operated by the YMCA of Greater Saint John, includes two artificial turf surfaces, a walking track, a fitness centre, child-care and after-school programs, as well as Newcomer Connections services.

As a longtime supporter of the YMCA of Greater Saint John, a major contributor to the Saint John Regional Y, and as a founding partner of the Saint John Sea Dogs, the field house partnership is an extension of the company’s continued support of recreational opportunities in Saint John.

Located in East Saint John, the Irving Oil Field House is a one-of-a-kind recreation facility, serving people of all ages and abilities. With some areas of the building already in operation, the full facility is expected to open later this fall.
