How do I find a position?

For more information on opportunities with Irving Oil, please chat with your Co-op Coordinator. You’ll need to provide an unofficial transcript and résumé.  

Am I eligible?

 Students must be registered through their co-op office and be eligible to work in Canada. 

What is a co-op term?

Co-op students can join us to gain experience in business, accounting, marketing, finance, engineering or technology during this paid work term, which can last between four and twelve months.  

What if I’m required to relocate?

Co-op students who are required to relocate for a co-op position may be eligible for housing assistance.

How do I apply?

Our summer roles are posted to our Careers Page in January of each year. 

Am I eligible?

You are eligible if you have completed one year of full-time post-secondary school. You must be attending school full-time in the fall and be eligible to work in Canada. 

How do I prepare for an online interview?

  • Don’t worry about the interview nerves. We are genuinely excited to meet you! Just be yourself and show us your passion – whatever that may be. We can’t wait to hear about your education journey and what gets you excited about your future.
  • Check us out before your interview to see what we are up to.
  • Prepare your space. Have an uncluttered background, check the lighting and make sure to do an internet speed test.
  • Prepare for surprises! Make sure to master the platform the interview is being held on (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) and know how to use the basic functions available.
