Fueling the Community
The Irving Community Fuel Grant Program is a brand new source of support for causes in the Irving Oil community that promote:
- Education - Irving Oil believes that education is the key to strengthening our communities, one student at a time. We support programs ranging from early childhood education to after-school mentorships for teens.
- Environment - We live here too, and think our communities are home to some of the most beautiful natural environments in the world (in our humble opinion). Irving supports environmental programs that help to preserve our natural environment for generations to come.
- Community Need - We believe no one understands the needs of an individual community better than the organizations that serve it. Help us to address one of your community's most pressing needs, from access to healthcare to homelessness.
Community Fuel is made possible by you, Irving's customers at all of our fuel retail locations. Without your loyalty, our support for great causes across New England and Eastern and Atlantic Canada would not be possible.
The Fall cycle of the Community Fuel Grant Program is open from September 1, 2010 - November 30, 2010 with an online application process for requests for one-year grants up to $15,000.
Only organizations with a current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (US) or registered charities (CA) are eligible to request funding.

Irving Oil Marketing's Fueling Dreams program helps Special Olympics athletes get closer to their dreams by partnering with the Law Enforcement Torch Run To Serve & Protect Campaign. You can help by stopping by your local participating Irving location to purchase a commemorative decal or by filling up on June 5th (May 22nd in VT & RI) at sites with law enforcement and athlete volunteers. |
