Irving Oil to host Family Fun Day on October 21st
Event marks five-year anniversary of Fuel the Care
SAINT JOHN, NB - To mark five years of helping families through Fuel the Care, and to thank Saint John for its support of this important program, Irving Oil is pleased to present Family Fun Day on Sunday, October 21st. This special day will feature a wide range of free family events throughout the Greater Saint John area for everyone to enjoy.
Since 2002, Fuel the Care has helped more than 12,000 families in Atlantic Canada and New England. Fuel the Care helps families with travel costs when they go between home and hospital for their children's medical care. In the last five years, Irving Oil has contributed more than $1 million in support of the program.
Family Fun Day celebrates the success of this important program, and is an opportunity for Irving Oil to thank the local community and employees for their support of Fuel the Care.
Families wishing to participate in Family Fun Day will need to register for the event they want to attend. Reservations can be made on-line, by visiting www.irvingoil.com and clicking on the 'Family Fun Day' link, or by calling 202-2500.
